THE FOOT LIFT ASSIST
Occupational and Physical Therapy Personnel, please allow me to introduce you and your staff to the Foot Lift Assist.
A man who was afflicted with chronic progressive multiple sclerosis at age 55 developed the Foot Lift Assist to alleviate his foot drop. However, it is equally effective in alleviating foot drop in patients with walking disabilities, caused by stroke, accidents, or other chronic diseases. The patient must have the knee and leg strength to stand and lift their foot or feet slightly.
The use of the Foot Lift Assist provides added natural means of ambulation with less fatigue. The Foot Lift Assist provides added exercise, and promotes self-esteem.
If physical therapy has been unable to give your patient the lift they need, adding the Foot Lift Assist may do the job. The patient must be able to lift their foot or leg up off the floor surface minutely.
When the patient starts the walking process by lifting their foot, the removal of weight off the floor surface, activates the Foot Lift Assist, which helps complete the lift. The Foot Lift Assist completely eliminates foot drop in most patients when it is properly installed and adjusted to their physical ability.
If needed, canes or a walker can be used with the Foot Lift Assist for added support or balance. The Foot Lift Assist is superior to an ankle foot orthosis, AFO, as an AFO will only help level the foot. An AFO is uncomfortable inside the shoe and up the back of the leg. The Foot Lift Assist fits around the outside of the shoe, in the area of the ball of the foot. It can be used in conjunction with an AFO, if the AFO is needed for leg and ankle support. Our company custom fits the assist to the patient.
The Foot Lift Assist, when adjusted properly, eliminates foot drop and drag. This helps prevent falls, but accidents can happen. Mobility Now will not be liable for any injuries. Use of the Foot Lift Assist is the sole responsibility of the user.
We look forward to assisting you.

Good Morning! I found this address and so I thought I would let you know about my feelings on your fine product, The Foot Lift Assist. I have struggled with the problem of foot drop for the past 5 years due to my M.S. I have only been able to lift up my foot a whopping 0.6 (six-tenths) of an inch, and so I have kissed the pavement on more than one occasion. That is until I started using the Foot Lift Assist. What a product, and what a godsend! I have been using the harness a couple of months now and it has allowed me to start walking again with more confidence, and, I'm starting to rebuild my leg muscles. I have had a lot of people come up to me asking about the harness and, of course, I am always glad to share with them my experience. I also shared your product with my doctor who thought it was great, and I have been passing your address on to anyone who wants it. I am now in the process of ordering another harness and belt. Thanks again for a job well done!
Sincerely yours, Brenda, Ohio
